If you have heard something really intelligent or if you have gained access to new interesting knowledge, do you then quote the people you heard it from or do you pass on the information to others as if it was your own ???
Since I started working as a spiritual author back in 1995, I have been quoted a lot of times which is totally okay with me.
But very often I have received mails from clients and readers who wanted to hear my opinion on this and that, and then within a few hours or a day or two my answer has suddenly been posted on Facebook or on their personal website as if it was something they had figured out themselves, and that is not okay!
Some clients have even been so inspired that they made a whole new lecture based on the knowledge they got during a personal session with me, which is way too copycat for me, unless I specifically recommended them to do so.
I have also had many clients who wanted to get knowledge about the overall spiritual energies so they could write about it in a book or on the Internet as their own knowledge, and that I honestly don’t know what to think of. Why is it a problem for those people to quote me? It seems a little sneaky to me…
If they had asked me before the session I would have had a chance to say yes or no!
Of course I have also had clients who asked me kindly if they could quote me in their books and lectures, etc. which I have a deep respect for.
So to me the big question is:
When is the knowledge mine so I can decide whom I share it with, and when is it “Universal knowledge” that everybody should get access to? And should I share the Universal knowledge with everybody if they can’t get access to it themselves, so that they can pass it on to anybody they like as if it was their own rightful knowledge from the very beginning ???
People with a very spiritual approach to life often think that all knowledge – especially spiritual knowledge – should be shared with everybody, which I absolutely don’t agree in even though I am a very spiritual person, but what do you think about this whole issue ???
Should there be any limits to and ownership of the spiritual knowledge that not everyone has access to, and could it be that there is a reason that not everyone has access to the same type of high frequency spiritual knowledge??
What is your personal opinion? – please share !!!
Warm regards,
